San Francisco 49ers star Kyle Juszczyk’s wife Kristin often makes headlines for her unique customized outfits. However, Kristin had her first share of fame last season when Travis Kelce’s girlfriend Taylor Swift wore a customized puffer jacket designed by her.
During an interview with PageSix on Saturday, Kristin recalled that moment when Swift wore her outfit, crediting the Blank Space singer for boosting her merchandise business. Talking about the same, the realtor-turned-designer said:
“She single-handedly changed my career. I feel like I owe her everything, truly. It was such a pinch-me moment seeing her wear something of mine, and it just completely changed the trajectory of everything that I was doing. She opened up so many doors for me. And she looked amazing!”
It’s not the first time that Kristin Juszczyk has praised Taylor Swift. In June earlier this year, Kristin made an appearance on ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’, during which she credited Swift for bringing her DesignsByKristin brand into global spotlight.
“I’ve been at this for so long, and this year, I think I came to a realization, making it for myself, it’s not getting the traction that I wanted. This year, I told myself, ‘I’m really going to try and make some stuff for other people’. And I never thought I’d be able to make it for the people that I ended up dressing,” Kristin said.
Before becoming a designer, Kristin Juszczyk was all set to start a career as a realtor in Maryland. However, it was her husband Kyle who influenced her decision to shift careers.
During the same interview with PageSix, Kristin Juszczyk opened up about shifting her career from being a licensed realtor in Maryland to a customized outfit designer. Kristin confessed to having her husband Kyle’s major contribution to it. Talking about the same, she said:
“My husband’s been so fortunate to have such a long career in the NFL, and I just got really sick of having the same three or four pieces in rotation. We had a box of Kyle’s merch, so I just kind of got inspired to start cutting [T-shirts] up and see what I could make out of them.
“The first thing I ever made for a game day was actually a pair of patchwork sweatpants; looking back now, they are so bad, but I was so proud of them!” Kristin further added.
Kristin Juszczyk’s impressive skills had Matthew Stafford’s wife Kelly attempt a customization on her own outfit. Interestingly, the attempt didn’t go well and Kelly kept herself away from Kristin during the Rams vs 49ers game.
Even though the 49ers lost to the Rams, Kristin impressed fans with her adorable customized 49ers pants.
