Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader Reveals Squad Secrets for Flawless Makeup and Spot-Free Skin

FOR a lot of us, it’s an achievement to get from morning to evening with our make-up still in place.

But the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders have to look picture perfect pretty much 24/7 – even when they’re performing their iconic Thunderstruck routine.

So when it comes to make-up tips and tricks, they definitely know a few.

Sophy Laufer, who is hoping to be on the squad for a third consecutive year, took to her TikTok page to share some of her best-kept make-up secrets – including how she hides any blemishes.

She began with clean, moisturised skin, and started applying her Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation – using a beauty blender to blend it in.

Next, Sophy put on primer, bronzer and blusher – a new Patrick Ta product in the shade She’s All That.

“Oh this looks really pretty,” she said.

“I am giving that blush a 10 out of 10. I love it so far!”

She then put on her setting powder, before adding her Makeup by Mario concealer where she needed to cover up her blemishes.

Referring to how she keeps her spots hidden when she’s at work with the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, Sophy said: “A little tip make-up wise – if you have a blemish or a spot that needs some extra coverage, put some translucent powder and let it set while you do your eyes.

“It’ll help keep it covered all day long.”

Sophy added that she loves playing with make-up, and is always happy to share her tips and tricks with fans.

Later in the video, she shared how she makes her green eyes “pop” – with a trick shared by another cheerleader.

“One trick that I love doing that actually one of the former DCCs taught me is I take a green eyeliner pencil and put it in my waterline because it makes my green eyes pop more,” she grinned.

She added lashings of mascara, and finished off her make-up by doing her brows and adding some more bronzer and blusher.

The final touch was to pop on some pretty pink lipstick.

“This is the final make-up look and I’m off to practice now!” Sophy concluded.

“Need an in depth make-up tutorial w the shades you use! Obsessed!” one person commented on the video.

“I want a full on make-up video haha I want ALL of your tips!!!” another added.

The importance of sun cream in your skincare routine

The one thing you can do that will make the biggest difference – and this matters for all ages – is protecting your skin from the sun, Andrea stressed.

“The vast majority of external aging is due to exposure to ultraviolet radiation,” she continued, not because you’re “not using some jazzy serum or layering 90 different things on your face everyday”.

“If you’re not doing in your 20s, get on that now.”

But she said the use of sun cream alone doesn’t go far enough. Andrea urged that you also wear sun-protective clothing like broad-brimmed hats and long sleeves, on top of not staying out too long in the sun.

Doing this over your lifetime – and all year, not just during the summer or on sunny days – “will reduce the visible signs of photoageing”, Andrea said.

Those are wrinkles, muddled pigmentation and sagging skin.

“You are so stunning, with and without make-up!!” a third praised.

“You are just stunning,” another gushed.

Sophy’s involvement on the team was documented on new Netflix show America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders.

But she unfortunately hit headlines after accusing a photographer of inappropriately touching her.

While she was willing to press charges, police were unable to pursue her accusations because they apparently didn’t have enough proof.
