Mitchell Trubisky is gearing up for the new NFL season, which will see him play for his new team, the Buffalo Bills.
He joins after playing for the Chicago Bulls for three years, where he holds the postseason single-game yardage record with 303 yards.
The 26-year-old also holds the Bears franchise rookie records for completions (196) and passing yards (2,193) and is the fastest Bears QB to eclipse 10,000 career passing yards, taking just 49 games.
While the quarterback has been successful on the field, he is also enjoying life off it, as he tied the knot with Hillary Trubisky last month after seven month engagement.
She is a private Pilates instructor who splits her time between New York and Florida.
She is her husband’s biggest fan, regularly cheers him on when it’s game day.
Hilary gushed on Instagram: “Proud of you!,” in December 2019 after her husband played a game for the Bears.
She regularly posts pictures with the NFL star and her friends while showcasing her gorgeous figure and toned abs.
Last week Hilary uploaded a pair of pictures from her wedding night as she beamed with pride and shared a kiss with her other half.
She captioned the photos: “1 month of marriage with my best friend.”
As the new NFL season approaches, Trubisky has settled in well at the Bills and is happy to be playing for a team where he believes he can develop.
“At first, I wanted to go to a spot where I would get to compete for a starting position, but the right situation didn’t come up and the opportunity wasn’t there,” Trubisky said Tuesday, via ESPN’s Marcel Louis-Jacques .
“I looked at the next best thing, where I could continue to develop and continue to progress and become a better player and a person and fell into this organization, and I loved it ever since coming to Buffalo.”
He added: “It’s just really nice to be a part of a great team and be somewhere where people want you here, and they care about how you’re progressing as a person, as a player.
“It was an interesting process, but I feel like I’m right where I’m supposed to be right now, and I’m enjoying being here.”
