As part of this student group, she was recognized as an “Outstanding Junior for Order of Omega” in 2016. Since Hurts was a member of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity at Alabama—where he played on the school’s football team before transferring to the University of Oklahoma his senior year—the two of them likely met through Greek life.

She was later promoted to a sales executive and a software financing leader before taking on her current role: an artificial intelligence partner.

In 2021, on her LinkedIn profile, Burrows shared a Harvard Business Review article about how different personalities manage the “always-on” work culture. In her post, she said she identifies as an extrovert.
